i got my 5th devive today, 4 had diaplay problems (brurn in) 2 of them had no L1 netflix, but all receive the update 4.0.25
the 5th device has also the burn in display and got no update to 4.0.25 it is on 4.0.18 and says its up to date, i give it up and will return this one like all the ones before, its totally crap

Did you Test for burn in ?
Just leave the Display on for 15 minutes the Open the grey search Bar or hold the power Button Till the Grey Screen Appers and you will See ghost pictures // image burn in

I have still the burn in pictures // Image retention With update 4.0.27 the screens have defenetly a Problem. I Wonder why Nobody Else noticed it yet. Also the Support ignores me.

can you please Test you device and Report back ? I had this screen burn in on all 4 devices that i testest so far. I post it here but my Posting was Not Release by alldocube , I Write them a mail and they ignoring me again. Im pretty sure every Single device has this Problem With the Display

Hi before a Factory reset, you can try to delete the Cache of Netflix and delete it and install it again .
I had 4 Devices, all of them start With L3, but 2 of them had L1 after the update

I had so far 4 Units and all of them had the Same issues but the worst thing Nobody noticed is the Display burn in. It leaves Ghostimages after 10-15 Minutes of use. I will make a new seperate topic for this. Oh and all 4 devices had this Problem.
For example just watch something In netflix 16:9 you have on top and bottom black Bars. After only 1 Episode lets say 25 minutes. The Black Bars are Kind of burn in the Picture.
its not visible directly, but if Open up the search Menue in settings (the grey one) It is visible.
the Marks Go away with time but this is very Annoying. Please Test it for yourself. Im sure every Single Unit do this. Best way to See it is the Search menue in settings or the System Update Screen. Open one of them up after you watch something With Static pictures or black Bars for 20+ minutes
i First Realise this After the systemupdate. It Took maybe 20 minutes and after that I still had the Text from the Update Picture visible in the grey search Field.
Please Test it out and Report it here. This is inacceptable

i just wanted to sent my device back to amazon so i made a factory reset, after that i noticed the image looks completly differnt then before, so i testet it out and the pink tone is gone while scrolling and it dont gets so blurry like before the reset. also black text on white background looks way better then before.
but the display is still twitching ( the picture glitch for a Split second ) i have the feeling its now more often then before and especially when you open the apps menue from bottom to top.
i noticed also that if a static picture is shown like the systemupdate screen it will make some kind of burn in. ( you can see the text is burned in in the settings search field) this was before the reset and is still the same after the reset but not so noticable then before. another example is if i watch netflx and its not fullscreen (16:9), then you have black bars on top and bottom of the screen. after 20 minutes or so the black bars are visible in the grey search field. it goes away with the time but i want to know is this hardware issue? or fixable via ota update. also i want to know if the screen twitching is a hardware or fixable software issue.
please give me a quick update, so i dont have to return my device again and again.

Hi there I Sent my device back and ordered a new one. In this time a ota Update was Released. On my new device installed the OTA Update and Netflix is file now 🙂
now I have the problem
That the screen is twitching ( the picture glitch for a Split second ) its random and only in homemenue. In Apps Games etc. Its is Fine.
another thing that seems to be not normal is the scrolling , the Picture gets very blurry while Scrolling and black Text has a Pink Tone on white balckground, of i stop scrolling the pink time disapper and the text is Sharp again
is my new Device defective ?
