I recently bought a new iPlay 70 mini pro and updated the system software online to T813_B15_V4.0.31_20260120-1605. Now, every time if I close the camera app, the screen goes black.

You can try to clear the storage data cache of the camera app. Then, open the built-in camera app of the system and re-authorize it.
