Iplay 50 mini pro – DAC and Hifi Option

Hi,

 

Does anybody, by any chance, know which DAC the Iplay Mini Pro is using? I am curious about its specs, cause I am having troubles with 24bit audio files..

Second question: What exactly is the Hifi-Mode option under sound settings doing? Some kind of EQ, or some change to the DAC, or else?

It does not seem that the OS software and/or Mediatek SOC allows different than 16 and 32 bits resolutions. So 24bit files need to be oversampled to 32bit I suppose. No bit perfect reproduction as of now I think. Below, the status generated by PowerAmp:
