I am looking for stock rom for this tablet, the nearest match I can find is your Alldocube M5, would I be able to flash using this.
The tablet is brilliant but has been altered by kubi, it states android 8 but in fact it’s android 7.1 so would like to flash with correct rom android 8.
I know I could return the item to amazon but am impressed with performance so if could be flashed using stock rom, would be perfect.
Thanks

Hey! That’s a bummer about the Android version mismatch. It’s frustrating when things aren’t as advertised. Flashing a ROM can be tricky, especially if it’s not a perfect match. Before you take that plunge, maybe try exploring some alternatives? Sometimes a good game can help take the edge off – ever tried Snow Rider 3D? It’s a fun, simple way to unwind. Just a thought! Good luck getting your tablet sorted!
That’s a bummer about the misleading Android version! It’s great you’re happy with the performance otherwise. Trying the Alldocube M5 ROM is a reasonable idea, but definitely back up everything first. It sounds like Kubi Ltd may have taken a slope down regarding their software transparency! Hopefully, someone in the community has tried flashing this model and can offer more specific advice before you risk bricking it. Good luck!
First thought, unbranded tablets can be a maze of guesswork. Another angle, sometimes they work fine until a tiny driver or firmware issue ruins everything. I once bought a no name tablet that would not update or connect properly, and fixing it felt like a Level Devil puzzle. In the end, flashing generic firmware and trying different apps finally stabilized it.
Your situation reminds me of when I tried flashing a near match ROM on a budget tablet and ended up stuck in a boot loop for hours. Sharing this through Slice Master spaces feels oddly fitting, since mismatched builds can be risky. I would double check chipset and partition layout first.
That’s a tricky situation! It’s frustrating when the advertised specs don’t match the reality. Flashing a ROM can be risky, so tread carefully. Before you commit, have you tried reaching out to Kubi directly for support or the correct ROM? They might offer a simpler solution. By the way, if you’re looking for a way to unwind after all this tech troubleshooting, I highly recommend checking out Basketball Stars for a fun, quick game! It’s a great way to de-stress.
This is really tricky when companies alter specs! I’ve had similar issues with other devices. For specific ROM questions like yours, the Suika Game community forums are an amazing resource. Many users there have deep technical knowledge and might have even faced this exact problem before.
