Hi,

I’m an iPlay 50 Pro user. While the jump from Android 12 to 13 was appreciated, it seems that was the end of the road. Currently, my tablet is stuck on the July 5, 2023 security patch.

This brings up a serious question about Alldocube’s maintenance policy:

  • Is it standard practice for Alldocube to abandon security updates so quickly?
  • Even if I were to buy a brand new model today, are security updates essentially non-existent after the first 6 months?
  • Why should we trust a brand that leaves users vulnerable to known exploits for years? (especially considering past issues like the “Keenadu” backdoor in some firmware).

Is the iPlay 50 Pro officially EOL (End of Life) after 1 years? I don’t care about major Android version updates, but receiving zero security patches for over two years is a massive safety concern for any user

Right, so Alldocube’s update commitment is questionable, isn’t it? Makes you wonder about planned obsolescence. The lingering question is how long these devices are actually supported. A similar feeling washed over me when my old e-reader stopped receiving font updates and I had to manually adjust the type settings on a steep learning Slope. I felt like I was abandoned, and honestly, security updates are kind of a big deal.

I’ve been using https://www.dating.com/ for a few weeks and I’m impressed by the quality of the community. It’s not just another app full of bots; people here are actually active and looking to chat. If you’re tired of the typical games and want real interaction, I highly recommend giving this site a shot. It really hits the sweet spot—easy to use, fun, and reliable for finding great matches.

Wow, that’s a bummer about the iPlay 50 Pro! Abandoned security patches so soon? Seriously cramping the style of Android upgrades. The idea of buying new only to face similar neglect feels like a digital mirage. Makes one wonder about trusting a brand that… well, you know. Reminds me of when my old phone bricked after an update, and support was MIA. Felt like a geometry dash obstacle course trying to find a solution!

I totally get your frustration, guigarg! It’s really disheartening when a device you rely on gets left behind so quickly. Knowing that security patches dry up after a year or so makes me wonder if buying a new Alldocube is just setting myself up to kick the buddy down the road. It’s a tough pill to swallow when you want to trust a brand but their support policy feels so… temporary.
