Thank you for the update but this is now confusing for USA / Amazon.

 

Can you please confirm if IPLAY 50 PRO MINI

sold from Alldocube on Amazon will support

Widevine L1?

And Netflix HD 1080p?

In case anyone is wondering, the “IPLAY 50 PRO MINI” sold by Alldocube on Amazon is only Widevine L3 using the latest firmware from 11/02/2023.

 

So unless there is another update coming, this device will not play Netflix HD 1080p.

 

I’m returning the product and going to try something else

The Widevine L1 Netflix version of the iPlay 50 mini Pro will be available on Amazon USA as an independent model with the NFE prefix. Please note that the pricing will be higher due to certification costs. Expect availability in January-February 2024.

When will this release in amazon europe (germany, france)?

Also what will be the price in euro? Will there be a launch rebate/price? Also will the original iPlay 50 mini pro get Widevine L1 support?

Would be nice if this could come out to europe (and have a short sale, lol) 🙂
