iPlay 40H – Battery not charging 0%

Not off to a good start with new tablet… first time charging and after 6 hours the display still showing 0% on screen with the green battery icon avatar moving up indicating charge.

Tried turning it on, screen boots and then get ‘Power Off – Shutting down’ message.

Used different charger and different USB-C cable and same outcome.

Crook battery or charging circuitry ?

 

It happenned to me once, as the battery had been completely dried.

I thought my device was dead. But, after maybe 20 hours of charge (I don’t remember), it went back.

Beware that it must be properly switched off : keep pressing “power” for 10-15 seconds.

I add that it was’nt a iPlay 40H , but I think it’s not relevant.

Thanks for the advise, and you are right.  It was dead flat and came good after a +15 hour charge.  The charger was warm which was an encouraging sign.

I won’t let it go dead flat again.
