New Alldocube M5X Firmware

Hi.

I have read the tutorial for the update of the M5X tablet to the new firmware.

The tutorial is clear, but at the end of it there is a point to fix the IMEI with the tool “SN Write Tool”.

Is it necessary to perform this step to fix the IMEI?

If I don’t fix the IMEI, do I lose the internet connection with a 4G SIM?

I have never made a firmware update, I would appreciate your help. Thank you.

you don’t need to re-write the IMEI number unless you’re using Format-all-and-upgrade option when flashing!
