I’ve noticed that search engines these days don’t just give you links anymore, they pull answers straight from certain sites and display them right there in a box. Got me wondering if my info site is showing up in those results or not. Is there a way to check that? Are there any services that can tell you?

Yeah, the whole search game changed pretty fast. Used to be you’d rank high and get clicks, now Google and Bing just take your content and show it themselves so people don’t even visit your page. It’s frustrating because you put in the work writing quality stuff and then the search engine becomes the destination instead of sending traffic your way. You need to track whether your site is being used as a source for those AI-generated answers, otherwise you’re losing out on visibility.

Traditional SEO metrics don’t really capture this anymore since it’s not about clicks, it’s about whether AI systems can even read your content properly. Most sites weren’t built with AI agents in mind, so they’re getting passed over without you even knowing. You can check is your site AI agent-ready here: https://isitagentready.com . It analyzes whether your site is properly configured for AI agents to access and use your content. Shows you what technical issues are blocking AI systems from pulling information from your pages.

That’s a great question! It’s definitely important to know if your site is featured in those “featured snippets” or answer boxes. I’ve heard good things about using tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs to track that. They can show you what keywords your site ranks for and if you’re appearing in those special search results. Maybe even try searching for specific questions related to your content, see if you pop up. Reminds me of how much fun I have mastering the tracks in Drift Hunters – gotta keep practicing to stay on top! Hopefully those tools help you “drift” your way to the top of the search results too!
