I’ve received my iPlay 70 Mini Pro today. After finishing the installation I’ve seen a couple of missing features I’d like to have on my tablet. Being used to Xiaomi/Motorola tablet/phones.
I’m currently running Android 15 with iPlay OS 4.0 and have noticed the following:
– After opening the control panel it’s sometimes not possible to open the message center by swiping to the left and back to the right vice versa.
– The UI is in English, Chinese and Dutch (selected language). I’m not able to remove English and Chinese as a language.
– Some functions are just being shown without any animations. Like using the back gesture from the edge of the screen, it shows an arrow image but it’s no animation.
– Lock screen entering passcode doesn’t automatically unlock screen. I have to manually press enter to unlock the screen (usability).
– Any opportunity to get face unlock with these devices?
– Some parts of the UI remember an old Samsung S5 I used to have back in the day. Outdated parts in the UI?
– I can’t manage to turn on labels with the name of the buttons for the control panel (accessibility). Long pressing the buttons doesn’t show settings of the pressed button.
– I can’t seem the use Gemini with long pressing the on/off button?
– Why does the overview screen (when swiping up and holding) show single app screens instead of multiple? I find it very inconvenient to scroll, wait until it stops then choose an app to reopen.
– Some options, like deleting button popup on the home screen looks very small compared to the screen. It seems out of proportion. I’ve noticed while playing Clash Royale that it’s screen looks a bit bigger than it’s supposed to be on an 8 inch screen.
– Battery section in the settings showing the tablet is connected but not charging while it’s not connected.
