The desktop mode you mentioned should be the native desktop mode of the Android operating system, so it's still very simple and primitive

I am aware of the experimental nature of the desktop mode. After all, the 70 mini Ultra runs Android 14 and the official desktop mode is an Android 16beta feature. That being said, Alldocube explicitly advertises the support of “4K Video Decoding & DP Video Output”, and as far as I can tell, playing 4k video at 4k resolution via DP out requires desktop mode, otherwise there is only screen mirroring at a lower resolution. I have confirmed that playing 4k video in 4k on a 4k monitor works fine with the desktop mode as it is.

I would assume that a firmware update is in the works. If your developers could just add a taskbar and a way to adjust display magnification and text size, the present “experimental” desktop mode would be good for productive work. As I noted above, even the monitor’s touchscreen and speakers are already supported, and everything else like mouse and keyboard is bluetooth anyway. Considering how Samsung users rave about using their DeX productively instead of a laptop, a functional desktop mode could also be a huge selling point.
