Honestly, I’m sick of letting those rare sunny days slip away doing absolutely nothing with them. You know how it is here, you get maybe three weeks of decent weather all year and the rest is just clouds and rain. This year I’m actually going to make the most of it properly. Been thinking about grabbing one of those frame pools, nothing massive but enough to cool off in when it gets warm. And a couple of proper sun loungers would be mint too, you know, the kind where you can actually stretch out, crack open a cold drink and just properly relax without your back killing you after ten minutes. Where would I even find stuff like that in the UK though?

Mate, you’re spot on about wasting the weather. When the sun finally shows up, people just don’t know what to do with themselves half the time, sat indoors or mucking about with pointless stuff. Fair play though, finding loungers that don’t look like they’re from your nan’s conservatory is harder than it sounds. You’ve got loads of tacky plastic ones everywhere that look absolutely grim. Right now Argos has got some proper loungers at decent prices if you don’t want to spend a fortune. You can also swing by B&Q, they’ve usually got loungers with better materials that’ll actually hold up through summer without falling apart on you.

The thing nobody talks about is how many dodgy loungers are out there that look alright in the pictures but fall to bits the moment you actually use them. You’d get one home, sit down, and suddenly you’re on the ground because the frame’s buckled or the fabric’s ripped already. It’s worth spending a bit more on something that’ll actually survive a season or two without becoming a garden ornament that nobody wants to look at. Have a look at the sun loungers here https://rengard.co.uk/product-category/sun-loungers/ . They’ve got different styles and materials so you can pick something that matches your garden and won’t have you cursing it every time you sit down. Quality’s worth it when you’re trying to enjoy the few sunny days we get.
