It’s great to get the refund.  Hopefully, that would force Alldocube to do something.
I bought mine from AliExpress.  Let me see if I can get my money back.  Will definitely try something if Alldocube is not responsive.

I ended up installing Lineage OS on this darn thing.

Using Lineage-21 (Android 14).

How to Install LineageOS GSI ROM on iPlay 50 Mini/Pro/Max

That was the link I used for moving to Lineage OS.

@Zard1975, thanks for the link. I bought the NFE version for Widevine, but it seems a custom ROM is the only viable solution to the problem caused by ALLDOCUBE’s notorious incompetence.

It would be great if you could share your thoughts after using this custom ROM for a few days.

I received a response from Alldocube Support. They stated that a solution process will be announced on their social media today, with an expected fix ready within approximately one week.

As I previously mentioned, I have already completed my return through Amazon, but I wanted to share these official timelines with the community.

I have updated my 50 mini pro NFE already. The update was available after restarting the tablet. Took quite a while but it seems to be updated correctly with L1 Widevine intact.

Does anyone know if this is reqolved with iPlay50_mini_Pro_V2.0_20260301 which should be for the NFE version?

Ok, ik flashed iPlay50_mini_Pro_V2.0_20260301 and dr. Web light does not detect any issue, so i believe this version is not infected with this Trojan…
