Firstly, nice tablet. The issue I’m having is : When trying to use the tablet with my Potensic Atom 2 Drone the USB connection keeps resetting (connects then disconnects continually) so a connection cannot be sustained.
It does achieve a partial connection (the name and s/n of the Drones controller/transmitter are flashed on screen and the ‘charging’ icon changes) then it disconnects…..repeat until you become bored……
It did form a connection ONCE after many many random plug/unplug on/off cycles, but it’s never happened since, and it literally only happened once.
This doesn’t happen on my other devices just the Iplay60 mini Pro. (Nokia XR20, XR21,8.3 5G, Pixel 8, 7, iPhone junk, Xiaomi Redmi Pad 2).
I also understand DJI owners face a similar issue ie connect/disconnect when connecting to their Drones transmitter/controller.
Developer mode is set to ON, USB Debugging is set to ON, USB Mode is set to File Transfer ( all others have also been tried).
It may just be a hardware conflict with no solution though personally I think it’s the charging circuit.
Just so we are clear, the Drone works with EVERY other device I own just not the Iplay60.
Any ideas ??
Currently, the machine is not compatible with the drone products. The software and hardware departments need to conduct testing and adaptation for the unmanned vehicle products. This may require a lot of work and a long period of time, and it may not be resolved quickly.
Thank you for the response.
When mine did manage to connect to the Drone it worked perfectly and the Drone flew fine so for basic testing if we can get past the initial ‘handshake’ then it should be relatively easy to test the functionality.
I am more than happy to use my products for testing purposes if that would help
A similar problem with DJI. It was not possible to solve it. Alldocube’s official support replied that the problem was not widespread and that solving it was not one of the company’s top priorities. However, there are several cases where people have connected a drone through a HUB and it seems to be working. I tried three different Hubs, but it didn’t help.
Yeah I’ve read the same, same behaviour too. I considered a hub as it’s easiest when there’s a power issue but the controller can easily charge this tablet and the issue doesn’t occur on my other devices so I’m assuming it’s not power related outside of the “handshake” which is being refused.
Wouldn’t even have bothered posting if it hadn’t randomly worked perfectly once lol (as in worked as expected) now it’s just annoying me 🙂 a shame as I like the size.
*Updated to Android 15, very simple zero issues, didn’t change anything but looks nice.
** Gamepads, storage and other usb devices work fine.

I have a working solution……………worked every time so far 20+ start/restart
You probably don’t have to do step one tbh.
1) I upgraded to Android 15.
2) With EVERYTHING turned OFF including the tab connect the cable but do nothing else.
3) Turn ON the tablet then the Drone then the controller.
4) When asked change the USB mode to PTP.
5) It should now connect correctly, every time, you do Not need to power cycle to anything else.
Tested with a Potensic Atom 2 and the DJI mini 2, multiple reboots/resets and they connect EVERY TIME.
Alas, the miracle did not happen. According to your instructions: turned off everything, plugged in the cable, turned on the tablet, launched the app, turned on the drone, turned on the controller. The tablet temporarily connects and immediately loses connection. The message about choosing the connection type doesn’t even appear, but I can’t get to it in the settings menu because the connection breaks every second and the USB settings menu closes, with a new connection for 1 second, the connection appears and disappears again. And so on in a circle. Android 14.
Damn well that ruined my parade lol .
Ok, so now I need to learn how to pull any USB logs off my tablet and see if we can figure out what is now happening on mine Vs what is happening on yours and others.
Yeah I don’t think the move to 15 did anything of note.

Ok, made a very quick video so please excuse the quality/focus I was doing it one handed whilst holding my phone lol.
Ok, as you can see in the vid, everything is off except the tablet ( takes too long to boot for the vid)
Connect Drone controller to tablet , power the controller on and you can see the tablet acknowledge the controller and the “handshake” is confirmed , I then power on the Drone itself and the video steam is initiated.
Doesn’t help you or anyone else ATM but hopefully we will change that shortly. I’ve got the logs from the Potensic app which I will upload I just need to find the tablets usb log now.
Oops – we have different controllers. I have an RC N1 – as far as I know, no one has made friends with this remote yet.
I’ve even heard that other Mini’s are working. With RC remotes N2 and N3
