In recent years, there’s been a growing demand for tablets that strike a balance between portability and performance. Smartphones can feel limiting for certain tasks, while traditional 10–11 inch tablets aren’t always convenient to carry around. This is where compact, high-performance mini tablets are starting to stand out again.

Launching on April 10, 2026, the iPlay 80 mini Ultra is designed with this balance in mind. It combines a portable form factor with hardware capable of handling both everyday tasks and more demanding use cases like gaming.

One of the key advantages of a mini tablet is its size. With an 8.8-inch display, the iPlay 80 mini Ultra is easy to hold in one hand and comfortable to use in a variety of settings—whether commuting, relaxing at home, or sitting in a café. For reading, browsing, or watching videos, this size often feels more practical than larger tablets.

Despite its compact design, the tablet features a 2.5K display with a 144Hz refresh rate. This results in sharp visuals and smooth motion, which is especially noticeable when scrolling, navigating the interface, or playing games. It’s a setup that prioritizes both clarity and responsiveness without overcomplicating things.

Performance is another area where the device aims to deliver. With a chipset capable of reaching around 1.7 million on AnTuTu, it handles everyday tasks smoothly and is well-suited for more demanding applications. In gaming scenarios, users can expect stable performance across a wide range of titles, including those that require higher frame rates or more processing power.

Battery life is also a practical strength. The 7200mAh battery supports extended use throughout the day, whether for media consumption or gaming. The inclusion of bypass charging is particularly useful for gamers, as it allows the device to draw power directly without putting additional strain on the battery during long sessions.

Connectivity is another highlight, with full 5G support enabling fast and stable internet access. This makes the tablet suitable for cloud gaming, streaming, and online multiplayer experiences without relying on Wi-Fi.

Compared to typical 10–11 inch tablets, the iPlay 80 mini Ultra is noticeably easier to carry and use on the go. At the same time, it doesn’t significantly compromise on performance, making it a practical alternative for users who want something more compact without sacrificing capability.

The iPlay 80 mini Ultra will be available starting April 10, 2026, on Aliexpress, priced at 314.99 USD for a limited period from April 10 to April 15. 🎁 First 200 orders receive a free protective case

*It will also be available later this month on Walmart and MercadoLibre in the USA and Mexico

For users looking for a compact tablet that can handle both everyday use and gaming, the iPlay 80 mini Ultra presents a well-rounded option worth considering.

Bummer! For around 320 Euro I would buy this on Amazon. AliExpress is out of the question for me.
Maybe you will reconsider your decision where to release the iPlay 80 mini Ultra.
