\n A.How do I keep my PC up to date? <\/a><\/h4>\n

The best way to keep your PC\u00a0current is to turn on automatic updates. With automatic updates, you don\u2019t have to search for updates online or possibly miss critical fixes or device drivers for your Windows PC. Windows Update automatically installs important updates as they become available.
\n If your PC is connected to a network where updates are managed by Group Policy, you might be unable to change settings related to Windows Update. For more info, contact your organization\u2019s support person.
\n If you\u2019re using Windows 10 Pro or Windows 10 Enterprise, you can choose to temporarily pause updates from being downloaded and installed.\u00a0This option isn\u2019t available in other versions of Windows 10, including Windows 10 Home:<\/p>\n

  1. Select the Start\u00a0\"\"\u00a0button, then select Settings\u00a0\"\" > Update & security\u00a0\u00a0> Windows Update .\u00a0Under Update settings, select Advanced options.<\/li>\n
  2. Turn on\u00a0Pause updates.\u00a0Note that, after a certain amount of time\u00a0or after canceling a pause, you’ll need to install the latest updates before you can pause updates again.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    B.How do I manually check for and install updates? <\/a><\/h4>\n

    To manually check for updates in\u00a0Windows\u00a010:
    \n Select the Start\u00a0\u00a0button, then select Settings\u00a0 > Update & security\u00a0\u00a0> Windows Update . If you want to check for updates manually, select Check for updates.

    C.How do I see installed updates on my PC? <\/a><\/h4>\n

    An update history is available so you can see which updates were installed, and when. You can also use this list to remove specific updates, although we don’t recommend this unless it’s necessary.
    \n To see update history in Windows\u00a010:
    \n Select the Start\u00a0\"\" button, then select Settings\u00a0\"\"\u00a0> Update & security \u00a0> Windows Update \u00a0> Advanced options > View your update history.

    D.How do I remove an installed update? <\/a><\/h4>\n

    We don\u2019t recommend that you remove any installed updates. However, if you must remove an update, you can do so from the update history.

    \n Select the Start \"\"\u00a0button, then select\u00a0\"\" Settings\u00a0\u00a0>\u00a0Update & security \u00a0> Windows Update \u00a0> Advanced options > View your update history > Uninstall updates.
    \n Select the update you want to remove, then select Uninstall.<\/p>\n
