For all those out there who are struggling to root the iplay50 mini pro (all variants) follow the guide above. 100% guaranteed to work because I had all those problem mentioned and it still worked. I have the iplay50 mini pro NTE version. There are also some more steps you need to do below:

1. Flash a stock firmware from the alldocube website BEFORE starting anything. Must be from the official site. Don’t ask me why but rooting will fail if you skip this.

2. Use the SP Flash Tool v6 to flash. You DON’T need an authentication file and you MUST NOT load the preboot.bin files (uncheck the first 2 boxes before stating the flash).

3. Cycle through starting the iplay50 once before starting the final flashing process. Don’t skip this. In Developer Options, make sure OEM Unlocking box is grayed out (bootloader already unlocked) and file transfer mode is set under “Default USB Configuration”.

4. The Booting FAILED (remote: ‘unknown command’) problem is fixed by making sure you flash using this command: “fastboot flash boot magisk_patched_boot.img”. Ignore the risk warning in the instructions. If you try to flash using this command “fastboot boot magisk_patched_boot.img” will fail. Again, I have no idea why.

Dont buy this tablet . Hope you wont teick by its low price . After you update too much issues the screen is unreponsive after few seconds or minutes. The rom so terrible.  There is no double tap to wake eventually you will destroy you volume or powerbutton sooner. This tablet is disposable and waste of money!!! Same with iplay 50 pro screen unreponsive after seconds be careful when you update.highest Brightness so dim. Low on nits. Very Disgusting brand.
